Supervisory Board Member DSK Bank; Ex. Minister of Finance, BNB Management Board

Kalin Hristov has been a member of the Supervisory Board of DSK Bank since August 2025. He graduated in Macroeconomics from the University of National and World Economy in 1996, where he later served as an assistant and chief assistant. With 30 years of experience in the financial sector, he was a member of the Governing Council and Deputy Governor of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) in charge of the Issue Department from 2009 to 2023. In 2013, he served as the interim Minister of Finance of the Republic of Bulgaria. His professional background includes roles in economic research and forecasting, advisory positions at the BNB, and work as an economist at the Bank of England’s Centre for Central Banking Studies. He has chaired the Boards of Directors of the BNB Printing House, Borica AD, and the Cash Services Company. Additionally, he has represented Bulgaria in key European bodies, including ECOFIN, the General Council of the ECB, and the Single Resolution Board.
