Senior Manager at Visa

Martin Bakardzhiev, Senior Manager at Visa, is responsible for Visa Consulting Services in Bulgaria, as well as Cybersecurity and Fraud Prevention Services in Central and Eastern Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, Hungary, and Bulgaria).

Martin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Lancaster (UK), a Master’s degree in Financial Sustainability from Groningen (Netherlands), and is currently a PhD candidate in Finance.

With 10 years of experience in consulting, his career began at PwC, handling strategic projects for public and government sectors in Bulgaria and abroad.

For nearly a year, Martin was responsible for global compliance policies at Crypto.com, and for the past three years, he has been busy developing consulting business ideas in data, risk, and cybersecurity at the world’s largest payments company – Visa.
